The portal is one branded place where the people you work with — business owners, event submitters, program members, challenge participants, and anyone who's paid you — sign in to see and manage everything they have with your organization. No passwords: they enter their email, we send a code, and they're in. The page carries your logo and colors, so it feels like yours, not ours.
What Someone Sees When They Sign In
The portal only shows a section when the person actually has something in it, so nobody stares at five empty boxes. Depending on what they've done with you, they might see:
Your Listings — business owners see their listing and can update details, hours, and photos.
Where You Appear — the maps and directories their business shows up on, with links to see each one live.
Your Events — events they've sent in for your calendars, with review status, and an Open button once one is approved.
Forms You've Sent — other submissions, with an Edit button while something is still in review.
Your Sign-Ups — challenges and scavenger hunts they've joined.
Your Memberships — programs they're part of, with a link to each program page.
Your Receipts — payments they've made to you, with refund status and a receipt link.
How People Get There
Your portal link. Grab it from the Portal Link button at the top of your Listings page, or from Settings → Portal — both copy the same branded sign-in link. Share it in newsletters, on your website, or anywhere your business community looks.
Automatic emails. The confirmation someone gets after submitting an event or place, the "you're in" email when they join a program, and purchase receipts all carry a portal link that lands them on the right section.
Listing invites. Inviting a contact from a listing sends them a personalized portal invitation.

You control everything the portal shows and allows from Settings → Portal — see Portal Settings: Control What People See and Edit.

People only ever see their own things — their submissions, their memberships, their receipts — matched by the email they sign in with.
Draft directories, unpublished challenges, and other work-in-progress never show up in anyone's portal.
