  • Navigate to Data > Listings in Proxi.

  • Find the map point you want to update.

  • Click the edit button next to the point.

  • Update any available point details, such as:

    • Point information

    • Featured status

    • How the point displays on the map

  • If needed, copy the secret edit link and send it to the point owner so they can edit their own listing.

2. Use quick actions to find and feature points faster 0:39

  • Use the star icon to quickly feature a point.

  • Use the search function to locate listings faster when working with many points.

  • Apply these quick actions before opening the full edit screen when you need to save time.

  • Open the map and click the point you want to edit.

  • In the point popup, click the edit button in the top-right corner.

  • Make the same edits available in the standard edit interface.

  • Use this method when you are already viewing the map and want to update a single point quickly.

4. Bulk edit multiple map points in spreadsheet view 0:59

  • Select bulk edit to open the spreadsheet-style editor.

  • Review and update multiple listings in one place.

  • Use spreadsheet tools to work more efficiently:

    • Wrap text to make long entries easier to read.

    • Show the image column to drag and drop images or edit existing ones.

    • Add more fields/line items as needed for broader updates.

  • Use this method when editing a large number of listings or when you need to make repeated changes across many points.

5. Confirm edits flow through related views 1:37

  • Remember that edits made in bulk edit can also appear in collections and listings.

  • Verify changes after saving to ensure the updates display correctly in connected views.

  • If something does not appear as expected, review the related collection or listing settings.

Cautionary Notes

  • Do not assume bulk edits affect only one view; changes may flow into collections and listings.

  • Be careful when editing shared points if multiple people rely on the same listing data.

  • Use the secret edit link only when appropriate and send it only to the intended owner or editor.

  • Double-check featured status and display settings before saving to avoid unintended map presentation changes.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use search in Listings/Data to find points faster.

  • Use the star icon for quick featuring instead of opening the full edit screen.

  • Use bulk edit for large updates to save time.

  • Turn on wrap text in spreadsheet view to make long records easier to scan.

  • Show the image column when you need to update visuals in bulk.

  • Edit directly from the map when you only need to change one point and are already in map view.
