1 Navigate to the Map that you want to bulk edit or add points to. You can find all your saved maps at map.proxi.co.
Today you can access the beta spreadsheet editor by clicking the Spreadsheet View button on the left side of your creator portal
Pasting Data from Google Sheets, Excel, or CSVs
2 Navigate to your Data Set. Note: We're using Google Sheets here but Excel and CSVs also work.
Copy the places that you want to map on Proxi by clicking CTRL + C. You can copy one column at a time or many. The columns will paste in the order that you copied them.
Tip! The "Locations" can be addresses OR places (as you see here). If are adding a place that is common (like Cheesecake Factory), adding the street, city and/or country is helpful for us to properly find the place with our software.
As an example: Times Square, New York or Marriott Marquis, Times Square New York City is fine to paste into the "Location" column. So is an exact address like: 152 W 42nd St,New York, NY 10036. Our software works hard to find the place for you!
3 Put your cursor on the desired Location cell and paste the data. CTRL + V. You will see it populate into the table. If you are pasting many rows (>100) it may take a minute to populate.
The category will default to the first category on the map.
4 Copy the desired data using CTRL + C.
5 Click "Spreadsheet View".

7 To fill in the other mandatory column, Category, you will need to either:
Double click in each category cell and select the category you'd like to associate with each place.
Copy and paste in Categories from your spreadsheet. The caveat is that the Category name must match exactly (capitalizations, spaces after words, etc.) what is in your Category list in Proxi.
8 To drag the Category down to other points, click the small blue square in the bottom right corner of the cell and drag down as far as desired.
9 Click "Save and Load Map" to see your points appear on the map.
Bulk Edit
10 You can change data for many rows at once using the drag feature in the spreadsheet, which replicates experiences in traditional spreadsheet software.
You can edit all columns/rows in Spreadsheet View before clicking save. This feature will save you from having to enter each map point to edit it.
Here's an example of editing many points at once in Spreadsheet View.
First, I copy data from my external spreadsheet.
11 Then, click "Spreadsheet View" in Proxi.
12 Now, find the appropriate column to paste the data into and paste it in.
13 You can also make edits in a spreadsheet to any point. As an example, you can type in Point Numbers using Spreadsheet View to save time.
14 You can also edit the Description, Tags, URL and Special Offer.
15 When you are done with edits, click "Save and Load Map".
With category changes, you may have to refresh the page after you "save" to see the updates.
Adding Points in Spreadsheet View
16 You can also add points directly in spreadsheet view by typing or pasting an address into an empty row. Select the appropriate place in the dropdown and add additional fields as needed.

18 Fill in the other columns as you please.
19 Click "Save and Load Map".
Bulk Delete
Deleting cannot be undone! Be cautious.
20 Click "Spreadsheet View".
21 Click one row or select many rows that you'd like to delete.
22 Right-click on those rows.
23 Click "Remove rows"
24 Click "Save and Load Map".

25 Click here.
26 Type or paste in appropriate tags, URLs and Special Offer (see example).
Click "Save and Load Map".
27 The updates will appear on the map.
