โ€‹Tip! To learn more about about how payments and payouts are made, click this link: https://proximaps.notion.site/Proxi-Paywall-Payouts-4a4a0b3b57b846bbbc658a402b7bdd03

1 Open the map you want to edit and add a paywall to.

2 Enable 'Paywall Protection' after clicking Apps.

Once enabled, click 'Paywall Protection' on the left menu.

3 The first thing you will do is "Edit" or "Add Payment Gate".

4 Give your paywall a name.

5 Give your paywall a price.

Per the documentation linked above, Proxi takes a small percent of sales. Your take-home revenue per sale is listed in the orange rectangle below.

6 Click "Save Pricing Changes'.

7 If desired, you can select points that will be available for preview to users who have not gained access to your map. This helps them learn what the content on the map may look like.

Click "Select points available for preview".

8 Select the points you would like to have available for preview and click "Save".

9 Before toggling "on" your paywall, you might want to preview it. Click "Preview" to do so.

10 Users will see your map, locked/preview points, and be prompted to purchase access to your map.

11 This is what the initial payment screen looks like.

12 When you're done, click "Exit Preview Mode".

13 Now, toggle "Paywall On".

You can share the map by clicking 'Copy Map Link to Clipboard'.

14 Click "See Insights" to see who has purchased your map and download the emails to add to your email list.

15 The details of the payments will be listed under "Paywalls".
