โ€‹1 Open the map you want to edit and add a password to.

2 Under "Apps", activate "Password Protection".

Click "Password Protection" and toggle on "Passwords On".

3 Then, add or edit a password.

4 Put in a password that the map viewer will use and the password name you'll use as an internal identifier.

7 You'll want most of your points to be hidden behind a lock icon before the map viewer types in the password. You can select a few or none points to be available (outside the lock icon) as a teaser view before the password is put in.

To select which points will be visible, click "Select Points Available for Preview".

8 Click the checkbox next to the points you would like to be visible.

9 Click "Save" when you are done making your selections.

10 You might want to preview your map to see how it looks before publishing it to your viewers. If so, click "Preview".

11 Type in the password, like your map viewer would have to, and click "Get Access". Notice all but the one point we selected as a teaser point are behind lock icons.

12 If the correct password is put in, the map viewer will see confetti and all map points become visible.

13 Click "See Insights" to see how many people have used your password.

14 Click "Export Data" to download this data in a spreadsheet.
