A package is the thing you sell; its levels are the choices a business picks from. This walks through starting one, shaping its levels and sign-up page, and publishing. Nothing is offered to anyone until the last step.
Before You Start
Connect your payment account under Settings → Payments — Sponsorships & Memberships shows a Set Up Payments First card until you do. See Set Up Payments: Connect Stripe and Get Paid Through Proxi.
Have a rough idea of your levels: names, prices, what each one includes. The templates give you a starting point, but your own numbers are what businesses will see.
1. Pick a Starting Point
Open Sponsorships & Memberships (under Earn in the sidebar) and click + Add → New Package. On a workspace with no packages yet, click Start a Package. Either way you land on What do you want to offer? with two tabs:
Ideas for You — packages that fit what your workspace already runs. Each card says why it's there with a real number of yours: "Downtown Map was opened 4,200 times this month", "You're running 24 events in the next 3 months". If nothing qualifies yet, this tab says so and the Templates tab opens instead.
Templates — eight ready-made packages: Business Membership, Farmers Market Vendors, Festival Sponsors, Newsletter Sponsor, Street Fair Booths, Holiday Lights & Windows, Passport Stop Sponsors and Friends of Downtown.
Click a card to preview it: a Package Name you can change, a short description, and every level with its starter price and benefits. Dated templates fill in real dates — Farmers Market Vendors gives you the next eight Saturdays; Newsletter Sponsor gives you the next three monthly issues. The prices are starting points; change them to fit your area.
Click Use This Idea (or Use This Template). Proxi creates the package as a draft with all its levels and opens it on the Levels tab.
Already sell something similar? When the idea matches a package type you already have, the preview offers Add as Levels — the levels go into that existing package instead of starting a new one. Templates you've already used show You have one.
Prefer a blank slate? Click Or start from scratch at the bottom. Choose the Type (Sponsorship, Membership or Vendor Fees), give it a Name businesses will recognize ("Downtown Business Membership", not "2027 dues v2"), an optional Description, whether Businesses can pick more than one level (on by default for Vendor Fees), and a Tag Color for the tags that land on listings. Click Create Package.

2. Shape the Levels
On the package's Levels tab, each level shows its price, date (if it has one) and number of benefits. Use the up and down arrows to set the order businesses see them in, the pencil to edit, and the archive icon to retire a level.
Add Level offers two ways in:
Blank Level — name, price and benefits from scratch.
From a Template — ready-made levels of the same type that this package doesn't have yet (on a membership: Main Street Partner, Featured Member and so on). One click adds it to the bottom; edit it to fit.
Each level has:
Name — "Presenting", "Anchor", "Sat, Oct 3".
Date (optional) — for market days or sessions. Dated levels sort by date on the sign-up page, and a date that has passed is hidden there automatically, so you can set up a whole season at once.
Description — a sentence on who it's for.
Price, Billing (One-time, Monthly or Yearly) and Currency. A membership is usually Yearly; a sponsorship or booth fee is usually One-time.
Benefits — what the business gets: Featured Placement, Logo Display, Badge, or anything custom, with a quantity if it matters. Every benefit becomes a checkbox you tick off later as you deliver it, so write them the way you'd want to be held to them.
Making several similar levels? Copy From Level… at the top of the level form starts from one you already have.
3. Set Up the Sign-Up Page
The Sign-Up Page tab shows a live preview of what a business sees when it opens your link — your levels, prices and benefits — next to two settings:
Button Text — the button on the invite email and in the business portal. Leave it blank for the type's default (Become a Sponsor, Become a Member, Sign Up as a Vendor) or write your own: "Join the Downtown Association", "Reserve Your Booth". A small sample under the box shows how it will look.
Terms (optional) — what's included, when payments renew, your refund policy. It shows on the sign-up page, collapsed under "Terms", and the fine print under the checkout button then reads "By continuing you agree to the terms above."
Click Save Changes.
4. Check the Settings
The Settings tab holds the package's Name, Description, Type, Businesses can pick more than one level, and Tag Color. Change any of them and click Save Changes — your button text and terms are left as they are. Archive Package lives at the bottom of this tab.
5. Publish
Click Publish at the top of the package page. The badge changes to Live, the package appears on every listing's sign-up page, and an Invite button takes Publish's place. You can keep editing levels after publishing; changes show the next time someone opens the sign-up page.
To put the packages in the order you want on the overview, use the arrows next to each one in the Packages list.
If Something's Off
The page shows Set Up Payments First. Your payment account isn't connected or hasn't finished onboarding — Settings → Payments.
There's no Publish button. The package needs at least one level first. Needs You on the overview also flags a package with no levels.
A published package isn't on the sign-up page. It has no levels, or its only levels are dated in the past.
An idea you expected isn't on Ideas for You. Ideas only show when your numbers back them up, and not for things you already sell. The Templates tab always has the full set.
You want a package gone. Settings → Archive Package. Businesses already in it keep their rows and tags and keep being billed as usual; nobody new can join.
