Checking in is the moment someone is standing in the shop with their phone out. Post Check-in Actions lets you ask them a few things right then: score the chili, tell you what stood out, show you the bowl, log what they spent. Everything is optional for them; skipping never costs a check-in or its points.

The Four Things You Can Ask
Score it — a mark out of five, in whatever you like. Stars, chilies, paws, pizza slices, or your own emoji. Set How many of them (5 is the default).
Ask a question — a written answer only you see.
Add a photo — goes to you first, then the photo feed if they say it's okay.
Log a receipt — proof they were there and what it came to. One receipt does both jobs: it checks them in and counts toward a spend reward.
Click + Score it (or any of the four) to add one. Give it a title under What people see: "How many yummies?" instead of "How was it?", or "What made this one stand out?". Add as many as your event needs and drag to change the order people are asked.

The Settings on Each One
Open an action to fine-tune it:
How long they have — Any time (leave it open, and anything unfinished waits on the place) or For a few minutes when something is being judged.
Let people change their answer — Any time, Never, or For a few minutes. Any time means a mis-tap is fixable.
Check it before it appears (photos and receipts) — you approve before it shows anywhere.
Show the average on the place (scores) — off by default, and it only appears once a place has enough scores (10 to start). Keep it off while a competition is running so nobody sees a number before the reveal.
Must be done before the next check-in — off unless you're judging something. It's the one setting that can hold someone up mid-street.
What Participants See
The stamp lands first and the points are counted. Then your cards appear one at a time: the score in your chosen mark, a text box for the question, a photo picker, or a receipt total. Each has Skip this. Questions carry a note that only the organizer sees the answer.

What Comes Back to You
Scores and answers go to you, on the Participants & Activity page. Answers to questions are only ever seen by you: they show on the place in Activity and in your download, and are never posted for other people to read. Photos wait for your approval if you asked for that; receipts feed spend badges once approved.
If Your Experience Was Set Up Earlier
An experience built before these questions existed may still show a star rating after every check-in. The Post Check-in Actions section shows a card that says People are already asked to rate each place, with two choices: Keep It as a Question turns it into a score action you can edit, and Stop Asking switches it off.
Good to Know
Activities are the other kind of task: things people can do any time, anywhere, not tied to a check-in. (See Activities: Bonus Tasks for Extra Points.)
The vote in a Best Of is separate again. A vote is a pick from anyone, whether or not they visited; a score only comes from someone who checked in.
