Buying Extra Emails, Texts, and Business Lookups

Written by Melinda Haughey

This article is about the Proxi admin app at app.proxi.co.

If your plan's monthly amount isn't quite enough — a big season, an extra newsletter, a large import — you can buy extras in packs. A pack is a fixed bundle: 5,000 emails, 500 texts, or 1,000 business lookups. Buy as many packs as you like, whenever you like — you don't have to wait until you've run out.

The Two Things to Know About Packs

  • They don't expire. Whatever you buy stays in your account until you use it, however many months that takes.

  • They're used last. Each month's sends come out of your plan's included amount first; packs are only drawn down once that runs out. Buying ahead never wastes your monthly allowance.

Where to Buy

  • From the Messaging page: click Top Up next to the usage meter at the top. A small window shows each pack with an Add More (or Get More) button.

  • From the Subscription page: expand the Usage section — each pack has its Get More button right on its row.

  • Mid-send: if a message doesn't fit in what you have left, we save your draft and open the same purchase window on the spot. Buy the pack, and your message sends right after.

How a Purchase Works

  1. Click Get More on the pack you want. Use the plus and minus buttons to choose how many packs — the window shows the total you're adding (say, 10,000 extra emails for two packs).

  2. Click Continue. A secure checkout page opens where you'll see the exact price and confirm the charge — nothing is ever billed silently to a card on file.

  3. That's it. Your new balance shows on the meter right away, with the purchased part as the lighter section of the bar.

If you close the checkout tab partway through and the payment did go through, don't worry — the purchase is picked up automatically the next time you open the app.

Who Can Buy Which Pack

  • Extra emails and texts come with Have It All — the bundle that includes messaging along with the rest of our premium features. If you're not on it yet, the purchase window points you to it instead.

  • Extra business lookups are available on any paid plan. Lookups fill in a business's details for you — hours, phone, website, photos — when you're adding or importing listings.

Good to Know

  • The usage meter's note shows your split at a glance — "10,000 included this month + 5,000 purchased." More on reading it in Your Monthly Message Limits and the Usage Meter.

  • Packs are a one-time purchase, not a subscription change — your plan, price, and renewal date stay exactly as they were.

  • Anyone on your team with access to the workspace's subscription can buy packs.
