This article is about the Proxi admin app at app.proxi.co.
Your plan includes a monthly amount of emails and texts you can send. This article covers where to see how much you've used, how the numbers work, and what happens when you're close to the edge.
Where to Find Your Usage
There are two places, and they always agree:
The Messaging page. Open Messaging in the sidebar — the meter sits at the top of the page, next to the tabs, with a small bar for each channel. It's the quick glance before you send something.
The Subscription page. Open Subscription and expand the Usage section. This is the fuller view — it shows emails, texts, and business lookups, each with its own bar, plus the buttons for buying extras.
How to Read the Meter
Each line shows what you've used out of everything you have available. Say your plan includes 10,000 emails a month and you've bought 5,000 extra: the line reads 0 of 15,000, and the small note under it breaks that down — "10,000 included this month + 5,000 purchased." The bar itself shows the split too: the darker part of the track is your monthly amount, and the lighter part is what you've purchased.
Two different clocks are at work, and the meter footer says so: monthly amounts reset at the start of each month, and purchased extras carry over. So on the first of the month your included sends come back in full, while anything you bought and didn't use stays right where it was.
Good to Know
Sends draw from your monthly amount first. Purchased extras are only touched after the included amount for the month is used up.
A long text can count as more than one. Texts are measured in standard message lengths — a longer message, or one with emoji, uses a bit more than one.
Running out mid-send won't lose your work. If you try to send a message and there isn't room left, we save it as a draft first and offer to top you up — see Buying Extra Emails, Texts, and Business Lookups. After the purchase, your message goes out.
Business lookups have a meter too. They appear in the Subscription page's Usage section alongside emails and texts. Lookups fill in business details for you when you're adding or importing listings.
These meters are new. You'll see a small Beta tag next to them — if a number ever looks off, use the "message us" link right under the meter and we'll take a look.
