Before you can charge for anything in Proxi — a program membership, a paid challenge registration, a sponsorship — you'll connect a Stripe account. Stripe is the payments company that moves the money: buyers pay through a secure checkout, the money lands in your Stripe account, and Stripe sends it on to your bank. Setup takes about ten minutes, and you only do it once for your whole workspace.
What You'll Need
You'll need to be an administrator on your Proxi workspace — other teammates will see the payment areas but can't connect the account.
Accepting payments comes with the Premium plan.
Have your organization's basic details handy: legal name, address, a bank account for payouts, and the identity details of whoever manages the account. Stripe asks for these to verify who's getting paid — standard for any payment provider.
Connect Your Account
Go to Settings and open the Payments tab.
On the Stripe Connect card, click Connect Stripe Account.
You'll hop over to Stripe's guided setup — business details, identity check, and the bank account payouts should go to. If you already use Stripe for your organization, you can sign in and connect the existing account instead.
When you finish, you'll land back in Proxi. The Payments tab now shows two little status boxes: Charges and Payouts. When both say Enabled, you're ready to sell.
Sometimes Stripe wants one more document (usually an ID or proof of a bank account) before flipping everything on. If you see Complete Account Setup on the Payments tab — or an amber "Finish setting up your Stripe account" note wherever you're setting a price — click it and Stripe will show you exactly what's missing.
Put It to Work
Once connected, a price setup appears right where you need it: in a program's Who Can Join tab when you choose Paid Membership, in a challenge's registration settings, and in sponsorships. Set the price and a name for the charge, and the checkout side is handled for you — secure payment page, receipt to the buyer's email, and the purchase logged under Revenue → Transactions.
Getting Your Money
Payments go straight into your Stripe account — Proxi never holds your money.
Stripe sends payouts to your bank on a rolling schedule (usually every couple of days once your account is established).
Click View Stripe Dashboard on the Payments tab any time to see balances, payouts, receipts, or to issue a refund.
