With a custom domain, everything you build in Proxi lives on a web address you own — something like maps.yourtown.org instead of a proxi.co link. Say the Riverbend Downtown Alliance sets one up: their interactive map opens at maps.riverbend.org, their events calendar and event pages live there too, and when a visitor scans a QR code on a shop window, the address that appears on their phone belongs to Riverbend — not to us. To visitors, it all reads as yours, because it is.
What Lives on Your Domain
Your maps — every map link and embed opens on your address.
Your events — the calendar, individual event pages, and event submission forms.
Programs, forms, and sign-up pages — anything you share with the public.
The business portal — the businesses you work with sign in and update their listings on your domain.
Your team's workspace — you and your teammates can sign in and manage everything right on the same address.
QR codes and share links — new codes and copied links carry your domain, so printed materials match your brand.
Visiting the bare domain (just maps.yourtown.org, no page) shows a friendly sign-in page for your team, your businesses, and visitors.
Good to Know
Custom domains are available as a Pro add-on — if your plan doesn't include it yet, the Settings → Custom Domain & Email page shows an Upgrade to Unlock button.
Use a subdomain of a domain you already own, like maps.yourtown.org or explore.yourtown.org — not the bare yourtown.org, which usually runs your main website.
Plan and billing pages stay on app.proxi.co, and anything involving a payment finishes there — your visitors and businesses aren't affected.
People signing in on your domain use a six-digit email code — no passwords to manage.
The same page also lets you set a Reply-To Email Address, so when someone replies to an email Proxi sends for you, it lands in your inbox.
