First Fridays insiders, supporter-only concerts, VIP previews, member mixers — this guide gates one event series behind a program while the rest of your calendar stays public.
Best for recurring events where members get the details — a "First Fridays Insider" list, a supporters-only concert series.
In your calendar, put the insider events in their own event group — programs gate group by group, not the whole calendar.
Create a program (any gate — paid works great here) and add that event group, set to Members.
Keep your general events group out of the program (or add it as Free) so the public calendar stays full.
Members see the insider events on your calendar page, on your website's embedded calendar, and in their subscribed calendar feeds. Everyone else sees a join prompt in their place.
Beyond the series: pair it with a members-only map of after-hours specials in the same program — one join now unlocks both, and the bundle sells the membership better than either alone.
