This article is about the Proxi admin app at app.proxi.co.
Paper handouts still matter — event programs, walking-tour flyers, vendor maps. Click Print & Export in the map editor's top bar to open the print designer (available on paid plans). You'll see a live preview with settings alongside.
Pick a Template and Page Size
Templates — Map + list, Map only, or List only.
Size — Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A4, and more, down to Postcard (4×6) and Business Card — or enter custom dimensions. Portrait or landscape.
The Map Page
Show header — your map title on the printout.
Show QR code — prints a scannable code linking to the live map, with a placement picker and size slider. Highly recommended: paper for orientation, phone for details.
Show names and Spread clusters — make dense areas readable in print.
Inset map — add a small zoomed-in box for a crowded downtown block, and draw exactly the region it should show.
Recenter — reframe the printed view without touching your live map.
The List of Places Page
The list page is your printed itinerary or directory. You can set:
Sort order — by point number, name, category, start time, or date added.
Group by — category, first letter, tag, or any of your fields, with plain or color-block group headers.
Fields — drag to reorder what shows for each place, rename labels just for print, and hide what you don't need.
Columns and Text scale — fit more places per page or make it large-print friendly.
Printing Just Some Places
Use Filter places to print a subset — just Saturday's events, just one neighborhood — using the same filters visitors see on the live map.
Export
The Export menu offers Print… (straight to your printer), Download PDF, and Download PNG. The print designer is in beta and improving fast — there's a link back to the classic print experience if you need something it doesn't do yet.
