Objective
This SOP outlines the steps to create and customize buttons in Proxy using the custom fields add-on, enabling enhanced data collection and user interaction.
Key Steps
Step 1: Access Point Settings 0:16
Navigate to Point Settings in Proxy.
Here, you can edit or hide existing button options.
Step 2: Ensure Add-on is Active 0:42
Confirm that the crowdsourcing and fields customization add-on is enabled.
If not, go to Add-ons and Apps to add it to your map.
Step 3: Customize Data Collection 1:00
Access the crowdsourcing and field customization area.
Customize the data fields you want to collect and display on your map.
Step 4: Add a Custom URL Field 1:44
In the custom forms field section, click on Add Color and Field.
Create a URL field for your custom button (e.g., name it Michelin link).
Step 5: Enable Button Display 2:32
Turn on the option to show as button for the URL field.
Set the button text and choose a hex color for the button.
Step 6: Customize Button Appearance 3:01
Optionally, add a custom icon URL for the button.
Adjust the button's background color to enhance visibility.

The button settings auto-save as you make changes.
Step 8: Edit Point Data 3:58
Edit a point in your map to add the new Michelin link URL.
Step 9: Update Spreadsheet View 4:39
Go to spreadsheet view to manage multiple points.
Paste the links into the new URL field and delete old links if necessary.
Step 10: Review Updated Points 5:04
Check that the Michelin links appear correctly on the left side under the map.
Optionally, hide any other buttons you do not want to display.
